Dr James Critchley is an enormously experienced restorative dentist with over 21 years in practice providing family, implant and cosmetic dentistry. James's passion for dentistry started at an early age following his father who was one of the UK's leading implant dentists. Such was James's interest in dental implants that he started his post-graduate training before he had even completed his dental degree, spending time at the home of dental implants in Gothenburg, Sweden. This was followed by time in America being monitored by some of the worlds top cosmetic dentists. To date, James has completed 1600 cases.
His post-graduate training is still focused on spending time directly with the world's leading dentists in the fields of implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. This has meant James has built a particular reputation for his skill in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including the all-on-four technique, straightening teeth using invisible aligners, and dental implants.
When James is not at the practice he spends most of his time with his family. His interests are anything from Rugby to skiing.

With more than 30 years experience in dental practice, Colin has never been more excited and passionate about his dentistry!
Colin grew up, studied and graduated with a research science degree and then as a dentist in South Africa. He moved to the UK from Cape Town in April 2002, and had his own practice in Buckinghamshire for 20 years before joining Alexandra Greystone Dental and Implant Clinic in Reading.
“I often joke that I moved to the UK for the weather! But actually I moved because the UK offers world-class opportunities for dentists to expand their knowledge and skills, a fact which I have embraced. I am as at home doing a dental check up and cleaning for a patient, as I am fitting clear aligners or providing cosmetic bondings to improve smiles.”
His patients are already commenting on his thorough, knowledge-based examinations, great communication and gentle, pain-free treatment.
Colin lives in Windsor, enjoying the city/country balance offered by its close proximity to London. On weekends you’re likely to find him walking his dogs in Great Windsor Park or along the River Thames. Colin is also a keen “grow-your-own” gardener.
His current favourite saying: “An apple a day keeps the doctor, and dentist, away. And perhaps if we grew the apple tree too, that would help!”
What we eat and drink plays a pivotal role in the future health of our teeth and gums.
